Dark Souls Remastered Switch to Be Announced During Today's Nintendo Direct

The remaster is a complete rework of the game from the ground up in a new game engine and will be available for PS4, Xbox, PC, and Switch.

Dark Souls: Remastered will include the original Dark Souls game and all DLC ever released to her. As well as all the feature enhancements found in the Switch version, PS4, Xbox One, and PC owners will reportedly be able to play the classic game with new lighting and effects (similar to those in Dark Souls 3), plus improved textures.

Why all the resolution talk? Here we are with official confirmation from Bandai Namco themselves that there will be a Dark Souls Remastered, it will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Bandai Namco has revealed an unbelievable box set for all three Dark Souls games, but it's only for Japan and it costs the equivalent of £330.

FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco has yet to announce anything about a Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2 remaster.

Dark Souls Remastered Switch - What do we Know?

Kotaku alleges that Bandai Namco is aiming to have all three games in the Dark Souls franchise make it over to the Nintendo Switch, though today's Nintendo Direct will be focused on beginning with that first title.

Dark Souls was originally released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011, and went on to be a critical and commercial success, often lauded for its harsh difficulty and in-depth world design.
