It's also been suggested that From Software will eventually port all three Dark Souls games to Switch, but that rumor is unconfirmed at this time. In the original Dark Souls game, gamers could play online with 1 to 4 players but with the remastered version, gamers can play online with 1 to 6 other players. One recent issue that seems to have popped up surrounds that of a "50% off" Dark Souls Remastered deal that is said to have never been in implemented, although there's some info out there showing otherwise. Another change happening according to this same source is that the multiplayer number will be expanded to six concurrent players, while also stylizing the first game to be more similar to that of the third installment.

Dark Souls: Remastered launches on Steam on May 25. The Switch version will run at a 1080p/30fps in docked mode and 720p/30fps in handheld mode. The resolution is reported to be "upscaled" to 4k on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, with the enhanced consoles also supporting HDR.

On the PS4 and Xbox One, Dark Souls remaster will run at FHD 1080p at 60 FPS. But there are a few ways we're excited to see the beloved adventure improved for current gen platforms, and for the incoming wave of new Dark Souls fans.
