The online conversation began two weeks ago with an ambiguous tweet and ended last night in forgiveness, but noteworthy is what occurred in between.

Ganz not only accepted the apology, she says she feels vindicated, and forgives Harmon for his behavior six years ago.

"Now I wasn't in danger of being a bad person". It's only seven minutes long, but it is a masterclass in How to Apologize. He was so infatuated with her, he says, that even his live-in girlfriend had to ask him what's up and he brushed off her accusations. "Redemption follow allocution", she wrote. "You're the one who actually is seeing things through that lens". Earlier this month, the Community creator apologized to Megan Ganz, a writer on the show, for being "an bad boss and selfish baby" while running the show. Harmon professed his love, but Ganz again pointed out she didn't share his feeling but was at a disadvantage because he was her boss. Harmon was contrite in his response, but it wasn't until he had a chance to speak on his podcast that he gave a clearer picture of what happened in the past with Ganz. "I am deeply sorry", adding that he was "filled with regret and a lot of foggy memories about abusing my position, treating you like garbage". "That's truly the most helpful thing you can do". He says that though he offered the nonspecific apology on Twitter, other female colleagues pushed him to make a fuller apology which takes into account what transpired between him and Ganz. He didn't provide any excuses, like so many accused men have in the past - including Harvey Weinstein, who blamed his upbringing in the 60s and 70s at one point. When Ganz rejected him, Harmon recalls retaliating, motivated by the desire to "teach her a lesson".

Just treated her cruelly, pointedly, things I would never, ever would have done if she had been male and if I had never had those feelings for her.

And I lied to myself the entire time about it. Harmon lost his job, said he ruined his show, and he was still in denial about what he had done. "I knew that they ran they risk of undercutting people's faith in my judgement, her faith in her talents, the other writers' respect for me, the entire production, the audience".

"And if she hadn't mentioned something on Twitter, I would have continued to not have to not think about it, although I did walk around with my stomach in knots about it, but I wouldn't have had to talk about it", Harmon said. And I moved on.

Kenya's gov't 'unhappy' with presentation of European Union election report
The report also cited violence by opposition protesters and the use of disproportionate force by security forces. However, the Kenyan embassy in Brussels said it regrets the "premature manner" in which the report was released.

"I certainly wouldn't have been able to do it if I had any respect for women". "I didn't bring up this mess just to sweep it back under the rug".

"I was the one writing her paychecks and in control of whether she stayed or went, and whether she felt good about herself or not, and said frightful things", Harmon said during the podcast episode. "I find myself in the odd position of having requested an apology publicly", Ganz said, "and then having received one - a good one - also publicly". I'm going to assume when she tweets about it and refers to "trauma" that's probably it.

Ganz responded to Harmon on Twitter to accept his apology.

But what hasn't been seen as often throughout these past few months is such a thorough apology.

Harmon recounted acting "flirty" and "creepy" toward Ganz and lying to his girlfriend at the time-and himself-about it.

Ganz also said that she didn't expect the relief she felt by just hearing Harmon publicly admit what happened. I didn't dream it. "Ironic that the only person who could give me that comfort is the one person I'd never ask", Ganz said.
