Seal was both commended and condemned in the comments section of his post, but one celebrity coming to Oprah's defense was supermodel Chrissy Teigen.

In the video, Seal also criticizes someone who accused him of "tearing down a sister", and speaks in support of all victims of sexual harassment.

Seal isn't the only public figure who doesn't think Winfrey would make a great president. The stirring address she might run for president in 2020. But you know what? While the actress' co-star Tom Hanks, who Globes host Seth Meyers suggested should be Oprah's running mate if she made a decision to run, added, "I believe Oprah wakes up in the morning and both personally and professionally wonders what she can do specifically in order to make the world a better place". Of course, I love Oprah like everybody else.

Streep said American culture is going through a "seismic change" at the moment, adding 'It is a growing thing and the most heartening thing for me is that it doesn't feel like a one-off, I don't think we'll go backwards'.

At the same time, 56 percent said they didn't want her to run, with 33 percent lining up behind an Oprah candidacy. Her speech touched on her upbringing, being raised by a single mother, growing up disenfranchised and how her platform has given her more of a voice. "I don't think she had any intention (of declaring), but now she doesn't have a choice", Streep told The Washington Post on Sunday night.
