This new smartphone of HTC is having IP67 certification to be water and dust-resistant. The company has published a press invite on its Weibo account for an event taking place on January 15 in China, where it's expected to take the wraps off the U11 EYEs. This is now confirmed to be the HTC U11 EYEs, courtesy notable tipster Evan Blass. So by launching the U11 EYEs, the company will re-enter the dual camera smartphone market. This new phone will feature a splendid 5.99-inch Full HD+ display that will also boast a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Also take note of the smaller bezels up front and the fingerprint sensor on the back, which is a welcome change in my EYEs (ha, pun).

The HTC U11 EYEs is codenamed Harmony and comes with a curving rear glass that will mostly be treated to shades of bold colors like red, black and silver with a tinge of blue. Its owners will be able to enjoy music on it by connecting headphones to its USB-C port. The upcoming phone has been leaked by the revered Evleaks along with the specifications and the highlights. Another online report suggests that the company is also working on its flagship smartphone called HTC U12 which will be powered by Qualcomm's recently launched Snapdragon 845 processor.

The handset will also come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of included storage, if you need some extra storage it will come with a microSD card slot for expansion.
