Snow and rain possible Friday as temps drop

We saw isolated snow showers push through early today which sent snow flurries flying and even dusting some neighborhoods along the way, but better accumulating snow chances will move our way this weekend.

Tonight: Winds will begin to decrease tonight, and so will the temperatures!

The wind is expected to ease during the course of the day.

What we do know is that temperatures are about to get colder. Lows will fall into the teens with a forecast low near 17° in Lafayette.

Additional light snow makers are coming in here as we roll through next week. "The rest of the viewing area will potentially see 1" to 2" of snow by Saturday afternoon.
