It's a chip that's meant for machine learning researchers, developers, and data scientists who want to be able to build and test machine learning systems on desktop computers.

Unlike the consumer-oriented Titan X and the Titan Xp, the new Titan V is all about compute performance and with a price set at USA $2,999, it could be a popular solution for researchers and scientists looking to use that AI/ML power of the Volta GPU.

So where does the extra power come from?

According to a press release, the Titan V promises increased performance over its predecessor, the Pascal-based Titan X, while maintaining the same power requirements.

It's worth noting that this isn't really Nvidia's most powerful card yet - that honor still belongs to the 112 teraflop Tesla V100, which tends to retail for around $10,000.

The fingerprint sensor is expected to be an under-screen one and could be an upgraded version of the existing Xperia XZ Premium . The handset is likely to make use of the recently launched Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.

Trump Wants LePage To Challenge King For Maine Senate Seat

Snow and rain possible Friday as temps drop
There will be several quiet hours on Friday before a Clipper system arrives late Friday into Saturday morning. Tuesday will be cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers as another storm system will approach the area.

Also, the Titan V comes in a black and gold colour scheme, which makes it look like an otherworldly gadget straight out of a super-hero movie (read THOR-Ragnarok). However, gamers still have to wait a while - the new Nvidia Titan V is a powerhouse designed primarily for machine learning, big data analysis and artificial intelligence development, and is priced at $2,999 (approximately Rs. 1,93,300 before taxes and duties).

Titan V is packed with Nvidia's best technologies, including the latest 12nm Volta GPU architecture and highly tuned 12GB HBM2 memory subsystem. "We broke new ground with its new processor architecture, instructions, numerical formats, memory architecture and processor links", Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang says in a statement. The Titan V features 5120 Cuda cores and additional 640 tensor cores that have been optimized to speed up machine learning workloads.

Well, it's possible. I already mentioned that I did not see an SLI connectors on the card, and made a comment about NVLINK, indeed the card has NVLINK Bridge connectors, which is a fundamental change, but also price.

Nvidia has unleashed a new Titan graphics card which it's billing as the most powerful GPU in the world.
