Brown, who joined the organization as an executive VP and general counsel in January 2013, was promoted three years later, after the organization fired general manager Ray Farmer and head coach Mike Pettine.

The Browns have stockpiled picks for future drafts, with six additional picks in April's draft. And more disturbing for ownership: The on-field results were as bad as ever. Cleveland now sits at 0-12 entering Week 14 of the season.

The Browns own 13 picks in the 2018 National Football League draft including 5 in the first 2 rounds - Houston's first and second round picks and Philadelphia's second.

However, the team's decision to pass up on drafting quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Deshaun Watson in the past two drafts may have hastened Brown's demise and Cleveland has shown little sign of improvement since Brown took over.
