The incident in Moore prompted an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Moore Police Department, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Secret Service.

The conservative Republican was wearing a T-shirt bearing the phrase: "Ephesians 5:22". Tomorrow he told me he was going to get his GED. For those who don't know (which I definitely had to look up), Ephesians 5:22 refers to a bible verse stating "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do the the Lord".

"So what was going on over here tonight, man?" an officer asked.

Shortey's alleged reply was: "I don't really have any legitimate things I need help with right now".

Shortey told officers he and the teen were "just hanging out, talking about life and stuff". He denied knowing that his guest was 17.

The video released by Moore Police Department came weeks after the 35-year-old pleaded guilty to child prostitution and pornography charges.

Then the shirt shows the image of a sandwich and in smaller font the words "Now go make me a sandwich".

Aberdeen want compensation from Rangers before Derek McInnes talks
Former Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson is reportedly in the frame to be McInnes' first-team coach if the deal goes through. The Aberdeen manager has been linked with taking over at Ibrox ever since Pedro Caixinha was sacked in October.

According to police, a search of a tablet device found on the 17-year-old - who has not been named due to his age - revealed "sexually explicit" messages and other content, including messages from Shortey with offers of cash in exchange for "sexual stuff". Ralph Shortey in a motel room with an underage boy.

The victim has since turned 18.

However, on 20 November he pleaded guilty to one count of child sex trafficking, with prosecutors agreeing to drop three child pornography charges against him as part of the plea.

In March, Shortey was originally charged with engaging in child prostitution, engaging in child prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church and transporting a minor for the objective of prostitution in Cleveland County District Court.

Married Ralph Shortey, 35, can be heard arguing "can you show me that he's only 17?" after armed police swooped on his motel after a tip-off by the teen boy's anxious dad. She then notified the father. Shortey was not arrested at the hotel.

The video shows police attempting, for several minutes, to get people from inside the first floor room to come outside.
