Matt Lauer reportedly headed for divorce

Lauer's shocking termination from the show happened just one week ago and while his former co-hosts and colleagues were devastated by his firing, the network could be filling in his spot sooner then we think.

After Lauer was ousted from his "Today" hosting gig in the wake of sexual harassment claims, word has it that "MSNBC Live" host Craig Melvin is among those being considered as his replacement. Lauer's wife Annette Roque. "'She is not going to stay with him and work it out", he explained.

He's married to ESPN sports anchor Lindsay Czarniak; they have two children together.

Lauer, who was sacked from NBC News after allegations of sexual harassment on November 29, is married to Annette Roque.

"What he has done is bad", he told the Daily Mail from his home in the Netherlands.

In response to the allegations against him, Matt noted that "some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed". Repairing the damage will take a lot of time and soul-searching, and I'm committed to beginning that effort.

"The reason people are so upset and people are crying on our staff, which is like 80 percent women, is because he was really loved and treated people really well".
