JLR sells 52332 units in November, up 10% YoY

"November has been a robust month for Land Rover, driving sales up globally across all of key regions", Andy Goss, Jaguar Land Rover Group Sales Operations Director said.

The company says retail sales of Jaguar's new compact SUV, the E-Pace, which was introduced in the United Kingdom and European market, helped it achieve the growth in sales. China sales rose 19.1%, Europe sales fell 2.1% and the rest of the world saw an increase of 19.7%.

By market, the retail sales in November were up year-on-year in overseas markets (19.7%), China (19.1%), the United Kingdom (8.6%) and in North America (7.8%) but down in Europe (2.1%).

JLR further added that retail sales of refreshed Range Rover and Range Rover Sport (including plug-in hybrid variants) are due in the New Year.

During the first nine months of its latest financial period, Jaguar Land Rover's sales have went up by an overall of 45 percent from last year's period. Suri said the model will be fully imported and the company has received nearly "100 per cent pre-bookings for up to March next year".

JLR's SUV portfolio in India includes Discovery Sport (starting price Rs 42 lakh); Range Rover Evoque (Rs 44.44 lakh); Discovery (Rs 71.38 lakh); Range Rover Sport (Rs 93.82 lakh) and Range Rover (Rs 1.66 crore).

Tata Motors luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported 10% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its November month with sales of 52,332 units.
