David Cassidy cuts daughter out of will, leaves everything to son

David Cassidy purposely left his daughter, Katie Cassidy, out of his will.

On Wednesday, The Blast reported that according to Cassidy's last will and testament, the Partridge Family singer specifically cut out his daughter out of his will, leaving money only to his son Beau Cassidy, a 26-year-old singer/songwriter.

David had approximately $150,000 in various assets, which was left to Beau, whom he shared with now ex-wife Susan.

David Cassidy's three half-siblings, Patrick, Ryan and Shaun, were bequeathed Cassidy's music memorabilia, the website said.

Cassidy passed away in November aged 67 after suffering organ failure in relation to his dementia.

Katie, who now stars on the TV superhero drama Arrow, had an estranged relationship with her father.

"Because I didn't raise her, I didn't have to parent her", Cassidy told People in a 2009 interview. "I wasn't her father".

Despite this, the two had a relationship and she was among those by his hospital bed when he died, tweeting days later, "My father's last words were "So much wasted time". Growing up, Katie spent most of her time with her mother, former model Sherry Williams. This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute.
