Oliver, though not annoyed with Baldwin directly, has been in the news recently for going after actor Dustin Hoffman, when a woman came forward stating she was harassed by him on the DEATH OF A SALESMAN set in 1980, when she was only 17 years old.

"I do find that, that whole issue [sexual assault and harassment in Hollywood], which is a big can of worms to open up really - it is really, really tough, because you certainly want to see everyone who is guilty of something, who have done bad things, wrong things that hurt people, you want to see those people get punished", Baldwin said. "But I don't want to see other people get pulled into that... there's a lot of accusations with no proof", he qualified.

The actor defended his late show criticism on Megyn Kelly Today Thursday, saying he doesn't want innocent people to get in trouble. The actor has singled out Stephen Colbert and John Oliver as two guys who he thinks are speaking too much truth to power.

M&S launch stoneless avocados - and says they could prevent 'avocado hand'
The avocado hails from an unpollinated avocado blossom, meaning it develops without a seed which, in turn, stops the growth. But this year M&S has sourced a small number of the avocados exclusively. "My top tip is to try them deep fried!"

Bitcoins stolen after cryptocurrency site NiceHash hacked
NiceHash didn't say how much bitcoin was stolen from its wallet or how much of what was stolen belonged to its customers. Others say they can be helpful methods of payment, such as in crisis situations where national currencies have collapsed.

200000 people flee Southern California as wildfires continue to rage
Dozens of homes have been destroyed in this view of the Thomas fire from helicopter on December 5, 2017, in Ventura County. Early Wednesday morning, both sides of the freeway had to be shut down, but the southbound 405 was later re-opened.

"For me, what is different, what is odd, this is no excuse, but like 40 years ago there was a kind of way that people had a kind of sexualized by-play, and a kind of fooling around that was wrong", Baldwin argued. But it seemed to be less problematic than it is now. "Like someone said to me, if we are in a conversation and I talk over you, that is a mild form of bullying, if I don't let you finish your sentence. [Women] put up with it more but now they don't put up with it". It seems unlikely that the man whose recent tweets have suggested that a Republican representative must be oxygen-deprived ("the air must be thin in Utah") and condemned Bernie Sanders supporters who failed to vote for Clinton, and who has long considered running for political office, would wind up with a talk show that avoids taking a political stance.

He also commented on Hoffman's situation specifically.
