Bridge Constructor Portal brings back GLaDOS

Though there was a tie-in graphic novel, many thought the dangerously addictive world filled with homicidal AIs and false promises of cake and dreams would end with Portal 2 - but it looks like Valve isn't quite done with the series.

Valve's Portal series has a new entry - sort-of - in the form of a Bridge Constructor spin-off. I'm still crossing my fingers for an eventual Portal 3, but for now we have Bridge Constructor Portal to keep us engaged with puzzles and power hungry robots.

For the past year we've been secretly working in our underground labs on the next iteration of the million-selling Bridge Constructor series.

With the help of GLaDOS, its turrets, and obviously a whole bunch of portals, new and more experienced bridge-builders are able to solve increasingly hard physic-based puzzles in Bridge Constructor Portal, based on the popular Valve series.

In the Portal version, there will be more puzzle-like elements, as you would expect from any game involving the famous Portal gun. The console versions will follow in early 2018.

Bridge Constructor Portal, as the name suggests, combines gameplay from Bridge Constructor and Portal.

Headup Games has announced that it has been working on a new Bridge Constructor game. You also have to make sure that your bridges are well-built and won't fall apart. well, to be honest, it's kind of fun to watch them crumble in the original Bridge Constructor, so. you know - we might run some rigged tests for scientific purposes!

Bridge Constructor Portal is releasing just a couple of weeks from now, on December 20, for Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
