In order to celebrate two different 10-year anniversaries, Ubisoft chose to give away two awesome games; Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and World in Conflict.

The game is developed by Ubisoft Massive. It's a game made from bits and pieces of Assassin's Creed games you've played before and the only thing that elevates it beyond that is the unique story focus. With many other features, including Voice Over IP, awesome graphics and completely destructible battlefields, World in Conflict is an intense strategy experience unlike anything you've ever seen before. The game did not see a release on Xbox One or PS4, despite the consoles having been released by then. They threatened the power structures that ruled Europe, inspired the imagination of millions, and left a legacy that still endures. In this episode you are a young captain named Edward Kenway and much of the action takes place in a "Pirates of the Caribbean" (supposed to be the year 1715) type universe. Captain and customise your own ship, search for lost treasures, hunt rare animals and loot underwater shipwrecks. From December 4th to December 11th at 2 AM PST, anyone with a Uplay account can download World in Conflict (and its Soviet Assault expansion) for free as a part of Ubisoft's Happy Playdays seasonal promotion. To honor its players, Ubisoft will make "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" free to download from Tuesday, Dec. 12, starting at 6 a.m. EST until Monday, Dec. 18, ending at 2 a.m. EST.
