Governor wished Muslims on Prophet Mohammad Birthday

In a message he said that "I extend my warm greetings to the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Mohammad".

The night-long prayers would be organized in mosques, Khankhas and shrines the valley and Ladakh region despite sub zero temperature. Immediately after "Fajr" (morning prayers) devotees had glimpse of Holy Relic of Prophet.

The administration has made all arrangements for the devotees. The Governor has prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State. He said that the business community could better promote business activities by acting upon the principles of trade set by the Holy Prophet.

He prayed for wellbeing and development of the people.
