Antoine Griezmann has been Atletico Madrid's top scorer for the last three seasons but the French forward is now enduring a awful start to the new campaign.

The 26-year-old France global is widely regarded as one of the finest attacking talents in Europe and there is bound to be plenty of speculation linking him with a move away from Atletico as the January transfer window draws closer.

Diego Simeone's side are now 10 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona and are on the brink of crashing out of the Champions League, but despite their early season struggles, Griezmann does not regret his decision to stay.

A January exit is unlikely for Griezmann, who committed his future to Atletico after they were handed a transfer ban which expires at the turn of the year, but there is expected to be interest next summer. "I will score again soon".

Asked if he had discussed a possible January move, Griezmann said: "No. I need to work hard to change this and to improve, I need to work on my shooting and also try to create more chances for my teammates-this team needs to get back to where we belong".

"I haven't always expressed myself well [in regards to his future], like the other day I said it would be nice to play alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, of course it would, but that does not mean I want to join Paris Saint-Germain".

"I'm happy with all my performances with the national team but with only two or three Atletico matches", Griezmann admitted. I have to improve and find my best form.
