Texas A&M football head coach Kevin Sumlin is on one of the hottest seats in the country.

The Aggies allowed only 66 yards in the second half on 32 plays. "Forced the issue a little bit with their quarterback and that translated into them not putting any points on the scoreboard in the second half".

The fourth quarter proved to be a physical pull-and-tug between both teams until the Aggies finally sealed the deal with a 19-yard field goal from LaCamera to extend the lead 31-24 and eventually take the win.

A&M came out and set the tone defensively in the second half.

Meanwhile, JUCO transfer quarterback Jordan Ta'amu continued to get the nod under center for the Rebels in place of injured sophomore Shea Patterson. Ole Miss took a 21-14 lead on a 30-yard catch by Sanders with 4:24 left to end an eight-play, 82-yard drive. Ta'amu had his worst game as a starter and was constantly bothered by Texas A&M defensive pressure. Ole Miss and the junior tailback will get another chance to qualify for a bowl on Thanksgiving against Mississippi State.
