Derrick Rose to miss at least two weeks with ankle injury

According to a report from ESPN's Dave McMenamin, Rose, who will be missing his fifth consecutive game on Friday, is expected to be out of commission for at least two weeks due to soreness in his left ankle.

In a statement put out by the team prior to Friday's game with the Clippers, the Cavs say Rose's ankle will be immobilized in a boot for the next week.

Rose suffered a sprained left ankle on October 20 and returned October 29, but never fully recovered and hasn't played since November 7 because of recurring soreness.

Thomas, the two-time All-Star, hasn't played this season while rehabbing a hip injury suffered playing for the Boston Celtics last season.
