Philly rapper Eve is ready to transition from music to television, as the Ruff Ryder has officially signed on to co-host CBS talk show, The Talk.

"We are thrilled to welcome Eve to the table as she brings a fun and fresh perspective to our already diverse panel", said Angelica McDaniel, CBS' executive VP of daytime, in a statement. Eve has previously served as a guest co-host on the series, which also features rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne, several times. She is married to British entrepreneur Maximillion Copper and is stepmother to his four children.

The artist, whose real name is Eve Jeffers Cooper, is replacing Aisha Tyler, who recently left "The Talk" to concentrate on her directing and acting career. "She was like, 'Who's the host?' And now I can tell her".
