Ploy to defame me, says Hardik on 'sex video'

"Dirty politics is being played now", Hardik Patel said. The Patidar leader said the CD would not make a difference to him but the image of Gujarati women was being tarnished through the video. "What can one expect from those who earlier released similar CD of Sanjay Joshi".

Couple of years ago when Hardik began his agitation, a sex CD had surfaced claiming that it was Hardik in the CD.

"But the women of Gujarat are being insulted", he added.

With countable days left for Gujarat Assembly elections, a four-minute long video has gone viral on the social media with date stamp of May 16 showing a man engaged in intimate position with a woman. The Patel agitation leader has denied that it's him in the video and has accused BJP of hatching a plot to defame him.

Throwing a challenge at PM Modi, Hardik said the people of Gujarat can not be fooled by such gimmicks.

Hardik had said then that the BJP would be responsible, and that they would do so for electoral gain. Hardik Patel has indicated supporting Congress to defeat BJP, though a final decision is yet to be taken.

The report also quoted Patel as saying that such attempts will not discourage him from his fight for his community. He also asked the crowd to vote for the party which will help them in getting the government jobs.Patel criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the meeting , As Reported By TOI. We will support any party that will help deal a blow to the BJP's prospects of winning the upcoming Gujarat elections.

This is not the first time an attempt has been made to defame Patel.
