Nigeria vs Argentina: Super Eagles arrive Russian Federation ahead of friendly clash

Argentina pipped 2018 FIFA World Cup hosts Russian Federation 1-0 on Saturday with Manchester City record goal scorer Sergio Aguero bagging the goal.

Meanwhile, Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, will be missing in action against Nigeria after featuring in their 1-0 win over Russian Federation in a friendly on Saturday.

The goal was the Manchester City star's 35th for his country, moving him ahead of Maradona (34) and level with Hernan Crespo, and leaving him behind only Lionel Messi (61) and Gabriel Batistuta (54).

Revelling in his involvement with the three-time African champions, the 25-year-old via the team twitter handle said: "I'm happy to invited to the national team as part of the Super Eagles".
