Ryan school murder: 'CBI probing second student's role in crime'

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has now reportedly said that the Class XI student of Ryan International School who has been taken into custody was in the list of suspects since the first week of investigation. Pradyuman was found dead inside the toilet of the Ryan International School, Gurugram, with his throat slit on September 8. The arrested student has been handed over to the CBI by a juvenile court for questioning.

According to the CBI, the murder weapon which was used by the accused is the same as that was recovered by the Gurugram police from the commode of the washroom where Pradyuman was killed. "Then we will decide the course of action to be taken against the Gurugram police", said Mohit Verma, counsel for Ashok Kumar.Verma added that once the CBI would submit its closure report in court, they would be taken action against the Gurugram Police for "torturing" Kumar , As Reported By DNAIndia. TOI has a copy of the court order. Pending investigation, all the three accused are remanded in judicial custody till 12.10.2017. "An application for intimation of search conducted u/s 165 CrPC on 28.9.17 at the residence of one (name of the accused's father), student of Class XI of Ryan International School and permission to retain the seized articles/documents for the objective of investigation, filed".
