76ers Want Asset For Jahlil Okafor

Isaiah Thomas spoke out for fellow player Jahlil Okafor in light of his captive state in the Philadelphia 76ers organization. After the Philadelphia 76ers declined to pick up his option for next season, the former No. 3 overall pick's time in Philly will finally be coming to an end this summer, but when he'll get a chance to be back on the court remains to be seen.

By moving Eric Bledsoe, it could create the flawless opportunity for a team to pounce on a potential low-risk, high-reward situation - but only if the Sixers are willing to part ways with their former third overall pick for a less-than-desired return.

After turning down Jahlil Okafor's request for a buyout, the Sixers remain focused on getting an asset in return for Okafor, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The frustrated forward could be worth a flier on a single second-round choice - the draft is a crapshoot by that point, anyway - as a reclamation project.

According to the Palace, Prince Harry willtalk about the Full Effect program and his work to provide platforms for young leaders. She continued that Twitter and social media can be a "powerful weapon". "I think women, we do it better than men", she said.

Okafor has racked up numerous healthy DNPs during the 2016-17 season and in 7-of-8 games this season, making it extremely hard to garner any sort of market for him. His ceiling is lower these days, but that talent hasn't completely evaporated.

Despite a plummeting stock, Okafor averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in his rookie season with the team, starting in 48 of 53 games played through 2015-16.

The Sixers can't expect much value in return for Okafor, yet anything is better than nothing since he's certain to leave next summer.
