Nickelodeon recently suspended Chris Savino, creator of The Loud House, and just a day later has terminated him over sexual harassment allegations.

Now in its second season, The Loud House, "which will continue to air on Nickelodeon and be in production", has been a ratings hit for the network.

When asked for a comment, Nickelodeon did not confirm the suspension, but sent this statement: "Viacom is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees, and to fostering a workplace free from harassment".

The Loud House, which is now in its second season, will continue to air on Nickelodeon and be in production. "Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in early 2018".

As you may already know, the allegations against Chris come after the 65-year-old film producer, Harvey Weinstein, lost his job at his own company when charges of sexual assault, harassment, coercion, and intimidation over the course of thirty years came to light.

Savino's firing comes almost two weeks after the entertainment industry was rattled by revelations of decades of alleged sexual harassment and misconduct by movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, detailed in stories by The New York Times and The New Yorker.
