Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has said that he could not believe it when Chelsea sold Nemanja Matic to Manchester United during the summer.

Tonight the former England midfielders were working as pundits, alongside another former Red Devil Rio Ferdinand, for BT Sport ahead of United's Champions League clash at Benfica.

Matic has played every minute of United's Premier League and Champions League campaigns this season.

A lot of people on social media reckoned that Scholes was dying to laugh at his colleague's failure to lift the Premier League, and he did seem to smirk when Gerrard mentioned that he didn't win the title.
