The new entry-level model which comes 25 years after the launch of the iconic Monster 900 model from the Italian manufacturer, comes with several upgrades and will make its global debut next month.

Ducati haven't yet given a price for the 2018 Monster 821, although we would expect a small increase on the 2017 model's £9595 screen price.

The 109hp at 9250rpm of the liquid-cooled twin-cylinder Testastretta offers rider-friendly thrills, and with 86Nm of torque at 7750rpm, the 821 guarantees exciting performance, easy riding and great fun.

The Ducati Monster 821 receives a new tail design that looks similar to the Monster 1200.

The double barrel exhaust can not go unnoticed which is quite contemporary.

The new colour will be sold alongside the signature red and matte black colour schemes. This feature is limited to bigger Ducati bikes as of now. Similarly, maximum power and throttle response can be adjusted via the Power modes. The Riding Modes ensures easy adjustment of ABS, DTC and Power Modes (controlling peak power and type of delivery), allowing the 821 to be transformed into three different motorcycles, each with a distinct personality.

Braking is handled by Brembo dual 320mm discs and M4-32 monobloc radial callipers up front.

The 2018 Ducati Monster 821 will be available soon in three color setups: Ducati Yellow with black frame and wheels, Ducati Red with red frame and black wheels, and Dark Stealth with black frame and black wheels.
