Mariota suffered a hamstring injury two weeks ago in the Titans' 57-14 loss to the Houston Texans, and was inactive last Sunday in Tennessee's 16-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Marcus Mariota (hamstring) said he is "feeling good" and likes his chances of suiting up on Monday night against the Colts.

"I feel a lot better", Mariota recently said, via the team's official website.

Designed quarterback run plays would be either limited or eliminated if Mariota returned this week. The Titans (2-3) practiced Wednesday, taking advantage of an extra day. But Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said Mariota is yet to even attempt a full sprint, which is important for a quarterback whose mobility is so key to his success. "He's got to be able to move around pretty good to be able to play, and not put himself in a position where he is going to re-injure himself". "He's got to show that by the end of the week". Mariota was sacked just four times in the first four-plus games. The first two were Thursday night games against Jacksonville, and Mariota has the third-highest passer rating in prime-time games for quarterbacks with at least two games played since 2015 at 108.9.

On the season, Mariota has completed 66-of-110 passes for 792 yards, with three touchdowns and three interceptions. "Just go out there and play", Mariota said.

The Colts' defense has been able to mostly limit Mariota in its first three meetings against the former Heisman Trophy award victor out of Oregon. "Hopefully toward the end of the week, I'll get more on my plate and feel comfortable and try to play on Monday".
