Kodak Black Indicted on Criminal Sexual Conduct Charges

A SC grand jury indicted Florida rapper Kodak Black on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct stemming from an incident after a concert there a year ago.

A Florence County sheriff's deputy in a report said the assault occurred in February 2016 after Octave performed at the Treasure City nightclub in Florence, South Carolina.

The 20-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, who first reported it to her school nurse in Richland County, claiming that he attacked her after she went back to his hotel room with him following the show.

The charge stem from an alleged incident involving a teen girl in Florence County, South Carolina a year ago. The victim's age and identity have not been reported, but WPDE said Monday that she's a "teenage girl". He allegedly pushed her into a wall, onto a bed and proceeded to assault her, biting her neck and breast before forcibly having sex with her. Additional conditions for his initial $100,000 bond release in December included refraining from making comments on the case online and in print. The musician, real name Dieuson Octave, was arrested for the crime in November past year and was formally charged on Monday, Twelfth Circuit solicitor Ed Clements revealed to local news station WPDE. He has been ordered to not have any contact with the alleged victim or her family.

A trial date had yet to be set at press time.
