Boss Antonio Conte hopes this is the end of the road for the player's recovery.

Eden Hazard will complete his return from injury by starting for Chelsea in Wednesday's Carbao Cup third-round tie against Nottingham Forest, head coach Antonio Conte has confirmed.

The Belgium global has been on the bench for the Blues in their last three games, coming on late on during matches, though he now looks ready to start again.

Hazard's form dipped during Jose Mourinho's final season in charge, but it seems that the playmaker adapted to Conte's tactics quickly.

Conte also explained how he hopes to see Hazard continue to improve his game, both physically and tactically after the player himself praised the Italian for getting him playing at a new level.

"But I think he's shown not just at Chelsea but also at Juventus that he's a good coach and I think he has some good years ahead of him".

Kenedy caused controversy during the pre-season tour with social media posts that appeared to poke fun at China, but Conte says he has learned from his error.

"I think [Kenedy] knows very well what happened in China".

"We work a lot. Also, in the future, he could play as a wing-back". "We play well, we won previous year", Hazard told SFR Sport.

"I think Eden is a top player and he improved a lot".

"I think now it is very important for him to adapt to this league, because this league is not simple - it is a physical league".

"I'm sure Nottingham Forest wants the same".

That could mean opportunities for striker Michy Batshuayi and young players such as Charly Musonda and Kenedy.
